"if i added better tires and redid suspension".... That's like saying "if i throw bait in the water i'll catch fish"... there's a little more than throwing parts at a car to make a car work and you cant claim the future success your car might have when you modify it.

Same as your s14 that was on its way to being a ferrari beating powerhouse as soon as the UPS guy pulled up. Never happened.
Well plans changed. I decided on a s13. I.don't like drifting s14's and never have. The s13 was decently clean and made good power. Throw a power fc, cams, retainers, valve springs ect and ill have a 370+whp car. If i decided to build the bottom end. (Which i will) i can easily get 400whp which is plenty. Yeah an rb26 is cool but my pockets arnt that deep to maintain a car like that. Parts are every where for the sr but not for the rb26.

Car as it sits has the upgraded oil pick up, greddy oil pan, rocker arm stoppers. Good plat form. No shitty wiring issues to deal with. This is my dd so of course it wont be built over night.

I'm not refuting the hp claim... also, remember i was agreeing with you "yeah, this car will out run a c5" (assuming the hp is correct)... i'm just calling it like it is man, whether youre right or wrong. I'm not trying to pick on you, though you do make it very easy at times.

Drag racing is my thing. I dont give 2 fucks about drifting. The setups for the 2 are completely different. You cant claim best case scenario drag times in your drift car...

"if i had tires and hooked i would run X time"... well, if you had tires and hooked, it wouldnt be a drift car. People that dont drag race simply do not have an appreciation of drag racing. Anybody can get on a track and "drive in a straight line" like people are so fond of saying, but there's set up envolved in the first 60 feet.... especially when youre driving a 240sx.

its also not as easy as saying more power = faster. My car got slower even when it became more powerful
