Im an all american swimmer who was a state champion and had a full ride to NAU. I know what a swimmers body is. youre lean, you dont have mass. I highly doubt the less than 4% body mass claim because in my heyday i was much thinner (120 in highschool) and i was still 9% Body Fat. I also highly doubt the 280 bench claim because i dont think you realize how hard it is to bench almost 80-100 lbs more than your weight. Its extremely hard.
The bench mark is usually "be able to bench your body weight" to be considered in the average or slightly above average. youd be surprised how many people cant do that. To be able to bench 20-30% over your body weight is considered pretty impressive. more than that, incredible.
Id love to see a picture of you at 196lbs , you would be a ripped freak at that body fat % with that bench weight max.
For comparisons sake heres my friend who benches 315 and weighs 215:
