How is a cop car, even chargers, going to catch a street bike that can do around 100 in a just a few seconds?

The point I'm trying to make it this. Is it safer for a cop to try and catch a motorcycle weaving thru traffic to get him. Or just radio down the road or let him go?

Cops can't drive like they like to think and tell people they can. I love watching the cop shows on tv when one of them fucks up driving, they always say... "Only the cops expert skills, training, and knowledge saved his life when he lost control." Thing is.. HE LOST FUCKING CONTROL ON A STRAIGHT HIGHWAY WITH NOTHING AROUND HIM.... lol.

Lol the point I'm trying to make is this. You're in a car, the guy is on a bike. IF he does slam into you, it will be in the ass end more than likely. He will die and you will live. However it will fuck up your car. But seriously, bike vs a car. Who do you think will win? I would rather the cops think a little and let the guy go. It is not possible for a cop car to accelerate like a crotch rocket sorry.

I'm not trying to defend the guy that fucked up the Varsity for all of us. I'm just saying that I think I would rather them let a go on a super bike go for a simple thing like speeding. Rather than them try and weave thru traffic in there jalopies and try to catch him.

Which would only give more incentive to run if they took that approach.
Atlanta has a no chase policy anyways so they radio ahead. No officer is stupid enough to chase after a bike. They may take off after the guy but that's only so they are in the area when that person wrecks.
I would venture to say it wasn't just one person that ruined it for everyone. People have been doing stupid shit there for years.

No chase policy my ass lol. I've seen them come flying by chasing cars and bikes that I know were going well over 120 lol.

Errrr, I've seen a few wrecks were a motorcycle t-bones a car and kills the people in the car...

I also like how law enforcement sees texting and talking on your cell phone is bad. Yet, they talk on a radio and type on a computer constantly. Along with doing other shit..

Cops have to go beyond the law to catch a criminal. There is a line that's too far, but for instance to catch a person speeding in their car, if the officer never broke the speed limit he would be unable to catch the suspect and give a ticket etc...A cop using a radio while driving....totally fine. There are things that cross the line but that is not one of them.
lol I'm not talking about them just using their radio. I'm saying talking on their cell phone, radio, and typing on a computer while driving is not safe. There is no special training for that. I understand they have to do some thing while driving which is fine. I also understand they have to speed to catch some people, but there's a line with that. Like I said, a bike passes a cop car that is either stopped or going 50. While the bike is doing 120+, there is no way in hell the cop can catch him in his car unless one of these things happen. He's smart and radio's ahead for assistants or the guy on the bike fucks up and wrecks. The thing I WILL NOT agree with is a cop trying to catch a crotch rocket in a cop car. That is a useless chase IMO and will always be one. Most cop cars take forever and a day to hit 120 from a dead stop anyways. It's about like taking a single cam civic and trying to keep up with a lambo when you compare a cop car chasing a crotch rocket. Even a 600cc bike. Just not gonna happen.
