Unbelievable People out there....
So, I was shopping around the other morning (actually closer to noon, maybe 11am) on different forums and found this guy selling some wheels that would fit my Mustang (same pattern as 240's).
I immediately called the guy since he had his number listed, and told him I'd take them immediately. He complained that I called him, and he had listed his number? He told me that he couldn't meet me right away because he stuck the wheels at a buddy's house in Lawrenceville (here is where I started to get suspicious), and would have to meet me later because he couldn't fit the wheels in his car (S2000, a girl's car).
I told him that I was up in Gainesville and could come get them, so he said to come meet him at Discover Mills at 9pm. No problem - so far.
After a little while he started making excuses and wanting to change the time - told me that he wanted to go to the gym, then wanted to play basketball. What kind of guy has their priorities more around playing than getting paid? Obviously, I was dealing with an irresponsible kid. I figured that I had better get these wheels fast or he was going to sell them to someone else out from under me.
I got to Discover Mills at 9pm, the agreed to time, and waited at Chick-Fil-A. He finally texts me and tells me that it will be about 10pm before he can get there. Ok, no problem still. About 30 mins later, then he texts and says that I shouldn't wait on him. That's a load of crap.
He doesn't aswer my texts for about an hour, then finally calls threatening me! I'm the one trying to give him money, and he wants to threaten me? He says he will meet me anywhere, so I say, how about Discover Mills - WHERE I AM ALREADY WAITING! He hangs up.
He wasted 2 hours of my time, and had no clue how to be professional - he kept claiming how he was inthe car industry for years and built his won stuff and had his own company - but he couldn't find a way to be professional when just selling some wheels????
So, today, I tracked his mom down and had her call him.
All this just to try to buy some 18" ROTAS!!!!.....
