the prices on foxbodies just went crazy over night, i remember when 2500-3000 got you a decent foxbody, now those same cars are 5-7

Almost exactly a year ago and the guy wanted 10k for it. The thing honestly looked like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Rebuilt 5 speed tranny and stock rebuilt motor. Fully gutted and cleaned interior, new paint job that was over 5k itself. Not a spot of rust anywhere on the car. But like I said, 10k was just too much for a 20 y/o car that was going to be daily driven.

He's right, but not about it being 40 years, but more like 20 years. Integras were nothing special, just a plain ol' sporty compact car. Even though Fox bodies are generally associated with rednecks, they are still a Mustang. Obviously Ford has done something right when a car line is virtually continuous from 1965 to 2012 and so on.

You'd be surprised. When I drive mine, I have all types comment on it. Some would be considered rednecks, others would not be considered rednecks.
And if you think the age of the car makes it redneck, then you really haven't met many car collectors or been to the west coast.

i got a lot more attention from women driving old mustangs than any import ive ever owned. If you pulled up to a bar in your c230 and me in a fox coupe...... my cam would set off every car alarm in the parking lot, everyone outside would look it at. everyone who liked it would shoot me a compliment when i walked by, the import kids who didnt like it wouldnt say anything for fear of being bitch slapped. The people who looked at your car....... they would be waiting to see if your boyfriend was gonna get out of the passenger seat.

I dont really care if my car makes a loud noise from the motor, I like how my car is quiet, that way when your girl sneaks off into the night with me, you wont hear me leaving with her. I doubt you have any Daisy Duke looking girls in the back seat of your foxbody pony, the only girls you are banging in the back seat of that car looks like this..............
