Default Husqvarna..... you disappoint me greatly.

Once upon a time i thought Husqvarna was one of the infallible brands like Honda that could do no wrong. I would recommend anything they made to anyone. Well, that time is over.......

arguably the most worthless piece of lawn equipment i have ever laid my hands on is this new Husqvarna lawn mower i purchased over the weekend and will be returning back to the store today. It is suppose to be self propelled but the self propel is so weak that it can barely pull its own weight. Even on the slightest of incline this thing will not do it. It cant turn because the self propel keeps the wheels locked up, the wheels lock up when you try to pull it backwards.... when it actually is capable of moving its own weight on nothing but a flat straight surface, it moves at turtle speeds. If you try to push it faster, it feels like you're pushing against resistance. It takes 5-6 pulls to start it even though its brand new and has a chokeless, primeless easy start engine.

I gave this thing a shot because my Honda mower was stolen.... what a mistake that was. This mower is absolutely worthless. I would rather have a murry from walmart. Taking this piece of shit back to Lowes and buying me another Honda mower. A Honda self propelled will pull your ass around the yard, almost make you jog if you set it at max speed... it starts on the first pull every time. I dont know why i wasted my time, should have just got another Honda to begin with.

I am hoping to pick up a Cub Cadet soon. Heard nothing but great reviews about them.

One thing I keep in mind....if I can't pronounce the name of the company, I don't buy it.

i knew i should of got another Honda, just couldnt bring myself to walk in the store and buy the exact same mower again after someone stole it. It just didnt feel right.

i never thought id be disappointed in a husqvarna though, theyre arguably the top brand in lawn equip... their weedeaters and chainsaws last forever.

My dad does landscaping on the side, I work with him in between semesters and whenever I get a chance. He has a Kubota zero-turn, a john deere commercial grade F-series, and recently got a skag stand up mower. All great mowers. But if your yard requires a walk behind, I'm a fan of snapper.

Snapper uses the same engine this husqvarna does. The briggs engines are acceptable... but theyre no Honda.

Yeah Honda mowers are way quieter than the other lawn mower engines i've seen. It's smoothness, features are what sold me on one. Mine has rotostop (blade clutch), variable speed, chokeless, fuel cutoff etc. There well engineered.

Now the best power equipment has to be Stihl, outside of lawnmowers. There stuff is german engineered and run like tops on the pro series stuff. I like the fact that you can buy parts for it to service it or bring it in to a dedicated service center. The stuff i own are all great.

At least have some balls to tell me that youre too cheap to buy or say - fuck shoot me a pm if youre too embarrassed

my parents own a lawn equipment shop. they have owned the same honda mower for 20 years, no problems. they just do general maintenance.

the cheap stuff from walmart/other places are the ones you see in the shop getting serviced all the time. usually the honda/snapper are only in there for carb jobs because no one cranked them all winter.

After being into dirtbikes my entire life I've never had plans of purchasing any of their products. Every time I saw a Husqvarna on the trails it was broken down off to the side.
