Default Just because it fits on a honda doesnt make it JDM!

I hate when people post FS ads for a part that will fit on a honda, and call it JDM no matter what the part is. There is an ad on craigslist right now that says "Jdm k&n intake." WTF is jdm about a k&n intake?!?! (http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/pts/2877979574.html)

    *steps off soapbox*

Yeah these days I do title search only. Otherwise you get "lawnmower - not supra not skyline not JDM not blah blah blah".

I agree with most points in this thread. I dont even bother opening a thread if it says jdm in the title as i know the conents will suck ass. The people that seem to be stuck up on the phrase "jdm" usually drive the shit bag hondas that most people hate.

The problem I find is that people aren't knowledgable in what was actually factory JDM. Most of your wanna be JDM ricers can't tell the little differences in a car that's real an that's a clone. I had to school a kid the other day that thought he knew it all.

I got a private FB message convo to show you between me and some random kid. It's a trip. I'd put it on here to show my point but can't pull it off my phone.

    JDM:

    USDM:

USDM JDM: Stupid ricers with stupid wheels, stupid amounts of low, stupid tow hooks, stupid tie bars, stupid JDM sticker, stupid tilted exhaust, and stupid other things.

Real JDM: Stupid vans, stupid body kits, weird fecal matter sex acts, some better looking OEM models than we have in the US, and of course the obvious they're RHD y0 so tyGht!

That's what I'm talking about, damn! I like there OEM JDM stuff/ parts but JDM look and such. People now days think pop a JDM sticker on it and make cash. Hardly anyone except the real enthusiast can tell you what is USDM factory and what's real JDM factory.
