I went to Minnesota few weeks ago and it was -9 degrees and there was snow. The worst cold I have experienced. The snot in my nose froze.

I'm out of the norm... I prefer it no less than 80º but 70's are okay. Leather trenchcoat comes out by October/November, and stays out til April or so. I don't even own a pair of shorts or flip flops, I wear jeans and sneakers year round.

Well it has only been 20 degrees 3 days up here. Our normal high should be around 38 at this time. Ohio has been in the 50's or better through most of December and all but one day so far in Jan. This is a very odd winter.

i never had any "gear" and used a bike as primary transportation for a year, rain or shine.
