    GTI hands down... its the cheapest and w/ minor mods you can wax just about anything out there

    1st off he didn't say anything about a DSM... and that one you posted has 100k miles... i can get a GTI for 10k w/ under 50k miles newer/nicer and w/ minor mods own w/o out breaking down

    shit if he just wants speed but a civic/crx 500$ + 5k on build = own all

    but on reliability on DSMs, take your time find a good one with a good owner, no mechanical problems if you do

    Only problem in 3 years i had on my talno is an alternator go out
