People that don't know my real name (and most that do) at a meet just shorten my screen name and call me Echo.

I do the same, for example:
Scotsman = Scots
Quickdodge = QD
Bacon = errr... Bacon
AnthonyF = Ant
RandomGuy = Random

Were I to meet you Sinfix I would call you just that. Not Sinfix underscore fifteen.
If you try and shorten Fatality... All you get is Fat.
