A) Oil Rigs and Refineries are getting back to 100% after the 2 major hurricanes, Thats one reason gas shot to well over $3 a gallon.
B) Fall/Winter people drive less which drives prices down. Granted we do not usally see drops of .50 cents and more, but you see these drastic drops because the prices were so high to begin with. I figure it will settle at the $1.50-$1.60 range and even out there. Prices will depend on next hurricane season as well.
