^That's the whole problem right there. People care too much about what you're driving/what you've built rather than the community as a whole. Based on that statement no wonder the automotive culture is deteriorating like it is. Maybe thinking all of Atlanta is fine is being optimistic, but there are true enthusiasts left believe it or not. But if they have to deal with being treated as if what they drive/have built is directly correlated with their worth in the community, I don't blame them for staying at home.

I go to car events, to see shit out of this world..

I go to Morton's steak house because I like good steak.

If you want to use that as a cop-out to be anti-social then so be it. I'll admit it's rare I see a car that truly impresses me nowadays. But that doesn't mean I stay at home, rather I've turned my attention to motorsports to keep me entertained. But that doesn't mean I'm going to forgo the social interactions with people who share a common interest. Without the people, none of this is worth a damn.

I'm not trying to take away from the fact you started one of the largest, if not the largest, import forums in the southeast. That's all well and good. But your statements in this thread would lead one to believe you've given up on the local (and national) automotive scene. My point is, that kind of mentality coming from you, since we're bragging a little, is pretty sad.

And yes I've been to meets lately, we tend to have a good time. Probably because most of us realize it's not just about the cars and their owners' respective claim to fame. It's about having a good time with like-minded people.

I'm also pursuing a bachelors degree in computer science so I can provide for myself after I graduate, and a family if I ever decide to have one. So please, don't assume that you know anything about me or my interests.

I believe, that even though I now have a family and my precious little daughter which is my # 1 Priority and most important thing on the planet..I still have time to play with this.... I mean, yes, is not slammed with dope off set rimmayyysssss in the color green. or rusted hood... but hey.. it is what it is....I still enjoy it.. This picture was taken at Cruise for kids.. big fan of the event.. and may attend this year.. will def try..

Your family should be your #1 priority, no doubt. No hobby is that important. But just because life happens doesn't mean you have to give it up. I'm sure these gentleman didn't/don't neglect their families because they want to shoot the breeze with fellow enthusiasts a couple days out of the month.

I Envy Julio to an extent he built the shit up for many years then got out while on top. In the back of my head i view him as Mc hammer nugga should have saved/invested that money well lol
