I know I've had my jokes and I apologize. Never meant to hurt, but that they may have done.

i dont think racist jokes are the problem. Most of my black friends think the light hearted race jokes are just as funny as i do. "white man cant jump" "black guy stole my bike" that sort of thing is no big deal. I dont think we should be tight asses, we can still laugh at our selves.

But....... these political figures who are still trying to keep the issue of race alive are the same type of hate monger that Hilter or the KKK was. Theyre just disguised better.

it may not be the primary problem, but its definitely not helping to fix the issue w/ continually throwing stereotypes in people's face. you have a black guy that does the 'typical' thing of getting caught up in violence and drug life and you say 'typical, figures he'd throw his life away', but then turn the tables and you have one thats trying to make a name for himself, other than being an athelete, then he's an uncle tom. but what do i know right *rolls eyes*

i've already said it on FB before, theres way to make jokes w/o having to bring race or 'stereotypical BS' in it.
