Stolen VW Golf in Norcross?
If you know of one missing I might have some info...
Black but not sure the year or model...factory body kit with the factory oz superleggera "style" wheels..maybe an R32 but not positive. Anyways, i'm pretty sure I saw it get stolen along with two other cars in Norcross last night about 11:30pm...
Ok, here's why i think all three were stolen. Sitting at the light on Jimmy Carter with the Wendy's and Singleton Rd to my left and Norcross Tucker Rd and the CVS on my right I see the Golf first in line at the light with two cars behind it. The light turned green for them and they didn't move...about 10-15 seconds later the 3rd car lays on the horn and squeals tires taking off around the first two right through a clearly red light. While this is happening I see the driver of the Golf playing with something under the dash, he finally gets out on his knees still under the dash and around the steering column and then jumps back in. Since the 2nd car didn't seem bothered that he had just missed the green light I assumed that those two cars were together. I think it may have been a Legend but was paying too much attention to the Golf. Anyways, a civic pulls out of the CVS on to Norcross Tucker Rd, crosses the turn lane, then slams into the left rear of the legend....i was like wtf. The civic then pulls up next to the legend and they wave at each other then my light turns green...
Ok, so that was odd...how often would you non-chalantly run into another car, especially if it was your own, and neither be too concerned with it? Then me being me just has to know what's going on...i go up to the Advanced Auto and make a U-turn making it back towards Singleton and now I see the civic behind the legend and all three take off hard down Singleton....with a blue gwinnett co. concorde sitting there at the light going the opposite direction. I take the right onto Singleton and look at the cop and he's just staring off straight into oblivion towards Norcross Tucker Rd. Ok..now if i took off like that his ass would have turned around on me???
So i'm now going down Singleton looking for taillights...i go past the QT on my left and there's one Gwinnett Co. Impala in the parking lot and then think i see the 3 cars brake lights light up way down Singleton. I slowed down to where i think they turned on a small road on the right and 1/8 mile or so before the Dollar General. I slowed down to look down the older residential road barely wide enough for two cars and see a pair of brake lights but couldn't tell what the car was...wasn't really in the mood to get into anything too deep and still debating whether to call in suspicious vehicles i just continued towards Indian Trail not worrying about it anymore.
So i get to the Indian Trail/Singleton intersection and there is another white Gwinnett Co Impala waiting to turn left onto Singleton....i slow for the yield sign making my right onto to Indian Trail and the whole time i can see him straining to look at me while not making it too obvious by actually turning his head...i was like wtf just turn your head fool, i know you wanna look. Ok no cars were behind me, no cars coming towards me making a left onto Indian Trail, and no cars coming down Indian trail from 85...i get down to the bottom of the hill less than an 1/8 mile from the intersection and here comes headlights hard. lol, that lil fucker....he got right on my bumper, i'm talking one car length at speedlimit, as i'm making my way up the hill...before i can reach the top he locks it down and makes a u-turn back. Then outloud I was like, well...looks like someone finally called in a stolen Golf.
Anyways, pretty long and boring..usually i can get into a little more excitement but was trying to avoid too much more last night.
