btw all this time i was not bashing v8s. hell i was torn on either buying the 335i or a c6 corvette. all bs aside gtos can be/are fast cars if built. personally for 33k i would have brought a c6 corvette with the same engine 700-800 lbs lighter .6-.7 faster. the thing that holds gtos back is its weight. stock for stock 335i has only 300 bhp and can keep up with gtos ls2 400hp. with a crappy driver in a gto, 335is will walk them. all the 335i needs is a $650 tune to come up with another 80 whp and it turns into a fast car. 380whp daily driver on pumped gas? im ok with that.
will i run you? probably not. will i run a gto if it just so happens to stop at the same light as me? hell yea im going to gun that shit.
