I haven't heard of any of the new V8's getting very good gas mileage, and they all average around 385-400whp from the factory. Although the new V6 mustang is impressive as hell and I think it's the best power per dollar and still maintaining the factory driveability and warranty out there, for about $26-$28K you can also have a realiably boosted 400-450whp 4cy that still gets 32mpg's on the highway. The 2006-2011 Civic Si gets great gas mileage, and most of us that are boosted on the 6262 turbo's or the GT30/GT35R's are getting great gas mileage too. And I've had my car for 90K miles now and it's been boosted since 40K. No issues with longevity since i"m only running 12-14psi, and only 8psi on the streets daily.

but I thought this thread had turned into the whole "BMW vs. GTO" fight?!?! where'd that go? lol...

The new Coyote 5.0 in the new 2012 Mustangs get 26mpgs highway.

And I used to own a boosted 4 banger WRX, and it got no better gas mileage than my current boosted V8.

And sorry even if in some fantasy world it got 35mpg, I would sacrifice 5-10mpg for the driving experience. Hands down.

You people think that we get 5mpg or some shit driving around and have to fill up every 100 miles?
