The 2+2 took it to a new level - the addition of a back seat in a sports car - not needed, and adding additional weight. I know, I don't care for the looks of the rear and I feel a 12 year-old could have made the lines flow better.... But thats the way they made it, and I don't mind having the extra fold down seats, they along with the room they provide have helped me out several times.

Believe me I have thought about it many times along with MANY others. But it just wont fit even with relocating the radiator, there would be a lot of chopping up of the firewall. And when an SR20, KA, VG, and even a V8 bolt in with no fitment issues you don't feel too bad about forgetting about straight 6's.

Hoodpins were functional. I had completely removed all pieces I could related to the factory mechanism. All I left on was the hood release in the cabin. This is a picture of the car after I "retired" from SCCA. I got my championship and headed out, lolol. My contingency stickers and other (real) sponsor stickers were on the front bumpers, rear quarter panels, deck lid and hood. Black hood thing has been around for a while. It's not for everyone............ but i dont see anything wrong with liking it, if thats what you like. There's certainly more offensive things you can do to a vehicle.
the plan for mine is all white again and then get a CF hood and trunk so either way its gonna have the so called panda effect. if 280zx dont like my car he can just look the other way.
