Plus they were orgionally FWD and converted for US use to RWD because of our roads. Ford also helped design the shift gate.

It's a 1.6 marked as a 2.8 for the US market even though Nissan never made the Datsun edition 280ZX in the US it's just badges from Nissan. Just like the quad turbo model, it wasn't sold here but marketed here as a single turbo even though the turbo wasn't hooked up. I know what I'm talking about. My uncle use to own a Datsun before Datsun was sold to Nissan by Toyota back when they had the Corolla ZX/Supra ZX. So yeah...DUMB ASS.
