Not everyone likes what you like. I like drag racing. The time comment was because that guy said his buddies Contour would out run me, when the world's fastest contour is actually a decent race vs street driven, daily driveable pump gas turned car with a small turbo. His buddies car probably ran 14s and they were just thrilled to see their 4 door keeping up with stock mustangs.
