5th is OD, so you will have a 1:1 ration in 4th gear in either the 5 spd, 4 spd, or auto. At best, the R200 came with a 3.7:1 rear gear ratio. The 4 spd came with a 3.364:1. That would save you 1 second at most in the 1/4. So you drop from 18.4 to 17.4 - does it even matter when it is that slow?Quote:
