    Default its broke lol

    So my bike is broke,

I was comming back on base from lunch, mcdonalds, and i notice my throttle sticking, so i stop at the gate, show my id, and go on nmy merry way until all of a sudden, 10 ft from the gate, it dies. So i get off, look at the trottle cables etc, take off the air filter and what do i see. The throttle plate for the throttle body, has a shaft behind it just like a car, and some how, im missing about a 1/4 inch of it somewhere. No knocking etc in the engine or anything, so im hopping it went in and out. But tomorrow i have to order a new throttle body, adn take apart the heads to see if there is any damage.

and apaprently its commonplace with buells

Yet another american made item that breaks more than imports

Just cause your bike broke, don't blame it on American products lmao.... I've never had a problem with my throttle body falling apart, and I'm pretty sure I dog the car more than you have your bike in the month you've had it = P

all i know is i said the only sport bike i would ever own is a buell, and i stick to it. The are unsurpassed in handling and bang for the buck in all aspects. And hold their value rather well.
Besides, i drive all foreign cars, gotta help the country somehow

yeah, I never cared much for Buell when I first started riding, but their looks and short wheelbase grew rather quickly on me.

they are definately head turners.....when you are up in the mtns....it sounds like a crazy ass harley guy tearing up the mtns, and then out pops a Buell....kinda throws all the other bikers off....

yep, there are so many reasons i can think to spend upwards of 5000 on a 98 buell than 3000 on a 98 anything
