    my parents pretty much support it. sometimes think i spend too much on it... probalyb do at times. but its what i love... the girl, she dont mind really. i probalby do talk to her about it too much sometimes. lol, but she knwos thats what makes me happy, so shes happy. and many of my friends envy me. lol.

    Damn I'm glad someone asked this, at first my family kind of blew it off but then they started to see how serious I am about it and the reaction the car was getting then they began supporting me, it meant a lot to me when they showed up at NOPI without me asking them to come. Now they are trying to do all they can to convince me not to sell it.

    My ex couldn't stand it when we were together, she resented everything about the car and anything having to do with it. My G35 was shipped up from Florida and came in a week early, I literally hid the car from her for that first week (parked it elsewhere and still had my other car) so she wouldn't wreck the whole experience for me.

    My son is by far the funniest about it, he is 4 years old and whenever I'm working on my car in the garage he has to grab some tools and help out. Any modifications I'm thinking about getting I run by him first to make sure he approves (he loves the turbos) and when his friends come around he acts like its no big deal but when they're not around it is the coolest thing to him.

    I can say my car contributed to the break up, not the main reason though. It was always "you care more about that car than you do me".. my reaction was basically "no.. the car just isn't nagging the sh*t out of me right now"

    mY parents always have, they helped me when i really needed it with stuf (me paying htem back of course) While i was in basic training they took my car to 3 shows, and i placed first in my class (talon/eclipse) in all 3, and won best conversion as well in one
    My wife, she doenst mind, but she doesnt encourage it however lol

    my girlfriend likes it an she seems interested to learn about it...but her dad is a car guy so she grew up around it. me and her dad get along pretty well bc of that, he likes my car. she's buying me a new turbo manifold for christmas she thinks its not as personal but i keep telling her i will use it everyday and so will she.

    my family supports my hobby i guess but they wonder i dump so much money into it. they also have hobbies that cost money too you have to think of it that way. but my parents have never bought any mods for my car, i always bought it out of my own money. my dad liked it when i boosted my car he wanted to drive it really bad but since they live in chicago and i live here it was kinda hard for him.

    and my friends..well the majority of them are car guys too so they are in the same boat.

    My parents think it is awesome. Hell, my Mom's Accord has a bunch of shit done to it, and it was all her idea. She has more done to her car than a good chunk of the people on here.

    My X-wife loves it too. That is one thing that didn't contribute to our divorce.

    some of my forends understand it, some dont.. some help me, i help some..

    my family likes the outcome, but have 2 trucks in the garage that i have totalled with a sawzall.. and they are like, are you SURE you want to do this?? i say YES!!

    im putting my sububran(pretty much my daily driver) on the ground.. so i have to drive it carefull(eleryone is like that your DAILY!!).. and of course the teg is dropped..

    btw, real customs come from a sawzall, welder, and grinder.. no fiberglass here!!!

    my girl didnt care until i actually started bying stuff for the hatch. i could talk about it all i wanted. but i feel where she is coming from though. you cant ever just by a mod a put it on, there is always somethin else that goes with it or somethin you have to mod to work properly with the original mod
