    Actually I think that the fact that TV will be IP based will be a reality. Bellsouth is releasing their 24mb DSL next year and when other vendors get to that point IP television will put Analog out.

    I think on cell phones it would work, Id pay if I wanted to watch a show on my cell, If I had one that could do that

    24mb? Dammmmn.... Is that what the end user gets or just what it's rated at? I imagine that connection isn't cheap... Anyways... on the topic. No I dont think people are gonna pay $1 per show just to watch it at another time... Like the first guy said TiVo is out (and I love it) and very easy to use...

    damnnnnn how did you know that? We're already testing it in Cobb County but I think the testers were hand picked, its called IPTV. Basically how it will work is similar to what Julio stated without having to pay.
