    And fuck South Africa for making that shit a "cultural" thing. I don't give .72 shits if its cultural, its ruining the god damn game. IT FUCKING PRODUCES A NOISE 10dB ABOVE THE HUMAN PAIN THRESHOLD FOR SOUNDS. Its a fucking health hazard, players are complaining, coaches are complaining, fans are complaining, fucking spectators are complaining. All of their complaints are sound (pun unintended), so Blatter needs to ban that shit.

    Its not "imposing western values" on the game, its allowing players to play comfortably. Allowing fans to enjoy the game.

    I was watching it at a friend's house and with surround sound it was even worse. He ended up muting the TV and playing some background music. 90 minutes of that crap is enough to make you want to punch the TV.

    ESPN is supposed to be working on filtering the actual Hz (240Hz) that the sound resonates at to help get rid of it, supposedly.

    It didn't seem as bad during the Brazil game this afternoon, but maybe that was because it was a little more exciting game. I heard something about ESPN having a channel that was just going to be video and commentary without the background noise, but they could have been talking about the filtering thing. Either way that shit is annoying as fuck.
