If I were to get a ticket for 1 MPH, yes I would gladly take it. But I believe it is more the way you drive. Do you cruise at a constant speed? or do you constantly change lane, tailgate, drive aggresively etc?

Most tickets are based on the way you drive. I have been stopped in Chattanooga around the 'bend' (river), and after being COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL, cop let me go.

Of course. Attitude will not get you anywhere but on IA bitching about cops......
I agree, I regularly drive from here to St. Pete (FL) which is where I am from and usually drive between 80-100mph unless traffic is really tight or I'm sticking out like a sore thumb. I've never been ticketed, I have no traffic violations, I've been pulled over a few times and let go, mainly because I'm nice (I think so at least) to the officers and don't put up a "don't fuck me pig" attitude.

I even got pulled over for no lights and had no insurance or registration plus no license on me and the cop just said he trusted I'd get it fixed (just got the car) and he let me go.

The only traffic thing I was fucked with was a Gnett cop which was a complete idiot. I had a thread here, he ticketed me for no insurance, the car wasn't mine, my insurance allows me to drive any car insured or not, he wouldn't verify that and told me he was getting every dime for the county he could. A couple court visits later it's no more.
