I have only noticed sayings. Some of them don't even say anything. Never saw the numbers.

I think I know what you are talking about. In my browser ( Google Chrome ) if you hover over it a little window will pop up at the bottom showing the URL of whatever you are about to click on and those numbers showed up for me. For instance, when I hover over yours, the URL address ends in 38989674. May not make sense but that is what I am thinking.
EDIT: here is a copy of my screen showing it at the bottom left.

Haha they got me with that a while back. It's a code. Read each number on the keyboard. You go to the second letter diagonally down for each number, if the second isn't a letter you take the first:
Example: 898 is LOL
You have to figure it out and rearrange it like a puzzle until it makes sense, sometimes it's an abbreviation.
