Well this is one way to start out my morning and week. Basically, my neighborhood lays off of a busy road ( Buford Dr/SR20 ) - 4 lane with a dividing turning lane. So, traffic will stop to let cars in and out. As such was the case, traffic stopped, to let me out - the inside vehicle being a large work van. Checked to the right in the turning lane to make sure nothing was coming down to turn into the neighborhood, edged out around the van and heard a honk and WHAM! Some big Expedition was trying to drive up the middle turn lane ( where at this point, there is NO WHERE to turn left into except 300ft up the road at the light )
Of course, per GA state law, I was charged with failure to yield <_< The driver of the Expedition also was charged, but with what I'm unsure of. Already have an appointment with my insurance's repair shop to get the damaged assessed for tomorrow morning. Thinking of also maybe bring it by say, Ford's body shop to get them to throw me a quote too.
Any input of methods to follow through with?
