There is a HUGE difference between straight line racing and a road course. You have to enter the turn perfectly, otherwise you will lose speed, possibly go off track, and inevitably have a slower time. A lot more concentration and accuracy than just just shifting and flooring it.

I do feel Simon has the advantage knowing the course better than you, but you probably have a solid 200+ hp on him AND awd.

The next PDX even is coming up soon and it's only $115? $125? Def worth it!

Yes, I have zero experience on road tracks. But I'm willing to learn and get some experience. Like i said, next Road Atlanta event, I'll try and make it out.

It's def worth it. You THINK you'll be the shit at it, then you realize your not. lol. I had the only "race" car there so I looked like a professional but it was tough. I also had shitty conditions; rain, no defrost, seat sat really low so I couldn't see over the hood really, but all in all, tons of fun and experience. Get a GoPro

This should be pretty interesting. I know the track pretty well myself, and it as easy as it looks. I bet Simon would leave you by the chicane. I am not trying to pick on you or anything but Road A is tricky for a noob.
