I don't see why people spend over $10K on a car to make it run 12's when you can buy a bike for $8K that can run 10's.


That's the rational some of you are using.


Heres some more for you:

Why have a 12 sec car to sit in alpharetta traffic in?

Why build a drag car to go to a track on the weekend, and accelerate in a straight line and get nothing?

Why build a show car to win a plastic trophy

Why build a drift car so you can go waste hundreds of dollars in tires over and over?


Why build a show car, or a drag car and rent an apartment?

You can make an arguement in any direction. Who gives a shit? People do things differently, it may not make sense to you, but that's life. People have different priorities, and people have different goals. They may not be doing the smartest thing in your eyes, and I'm sure they are not trying to

I like cars that are clean. I don't do the whole neons, tv screens, lambo doors, big wheels slammed to the point where it's undrivable. If you don't agree - who cares!!! It makes no difference in my life, therefore, the logical conclusion is that it should make no difference in YOUR life, and if it makes no difference, you shouldn't get angry!

My car is ugly, slow compared to some cars, and dirty as shit! But it's my car and I like it. If you like your show car, then rock on, haha. So what if I think it's dumb?? I'm just an opinionated chick, nothing else!

I would never spend that much on a Civic hatch even it runs 9's.

I'd spend 12 on a nice daily that runs 12s. Then spend the rest on college to get a job that will pay me to buy better cars and so on.

My car is ugly.

Even if I wanted to dump thousands of dollars into it making it a show car it'd still be ugly.

But I could dump those same thousands of dollars into it and make it go fast. That atleast puts a smile on my face.

It is just wierd, like putting a lot of money into something that really does nothing for you.

I have been on both sides of it, I have had a semi show car.. and I have had a semi quick car, for me personally I tend to enjoy the faster over the prettier.. I have helped create some of the most recognizes (both respeceted and laughed at im sure) cars that are(were) out there.. several of which have been posted in this thread. I kinda have a mix of what makes me happy, I cant say that im like some people and I want a fast car that is ugly, I can't say I want a show car either.. what im trying to build is somewhere in between, a mixture of the two if you will.. and when it is done noone will like it because it isnt a "show" car and it isnt a "race" car... but I will be happy so fuck the hatters.

UM no we weren't we were Pioneers on tha scene and we (and others)started what it is today. My car back then wasn't with a big wing and stuff it was cleanly done so not everyone was considered a ricer!
