I did the same thing recently like a week before my brother got his paper ID. My lost my wallet and moved so I had to get it either way. They gave me the ID and License on the spot. Good until 2018.Originally Posted by aaronfelipe
I renewed my license last week and they gave me the old one on the spot. They announced the new license back in October. They all now get printed off site. Not all DMV's are issuing the new ones yet.
