the torqueless wonder, flawed from the start with oil consumption and of course apex seal failure, too much to ask from three tiny seals per rotor. Now, I used to love these things and as I've told others I rebuild them even to this day, but wow if you can't see the superiority of a piston engine then you are retarded.
I understand your point and agree with you on some of it. But i think you went too far in calling it a "Failure in engineering". Maybe if these motors were only lasting about 30k miles you might be right, but i have see many N/A Rotary's well over 200k miles and going strong. And remember just how much R&D the piston engine has compared to the little rotary.
But imo you cant beat the sound of a v8.
