Which acne fighting system do you prefer? Results? I'm still a youngin and haven't found anything besides Proactive but its just so expensive in the long run. Any useful advice will be rewarded with reps.

Also, try using neosporin as a spot treatment, they tend to heal faster w/o scarring.

When I was in high school all I used was astringent, and Clearasil night cream at night.
Cut down on junk food and greasy shit too , that helps a lot.
I ate a lot of asparagus too, that helps, but the ladies say it made my man yogurt taste nasty. loloololol

But seriously, the best shit for acne is Acutane(sp?). That's what I used when I was in HS and it cleared everything up. Not even sure if it's still around (or legal), because it's pretty rough on the body... Dries you out -- It's like sending a flamethrower guy in to roast all of those little bunkers we call pores.

It is, but only as a generic. The side effect list is terrifying. I don't know if this is common practice but when a friend of mine when on it they put her on birth control as a matter of course because if you get pregnant while you're on it, your kid will be FUCKED UP.

Accutane. $17,000 and 4 months later it was gone forever from my face and shoulders. It's horrendously expensive if you dont have good insurance, but the shit worked amazing for my mother and I back when I was a young teen. It might be cheaper now, ask your dermatologist about it.
Forgot to add, a small side benefit was I don't hardly ever get oily skin, and I don't sweat hardly at all anymore unless I"m really busting ass. Something to do with the way the medicine changes your skin pores. Miracle drug.

Thanks to the useful posts, I'll search more into those, reps when I'm back on my pc. And I do wash my face, I have used many different types of acne treatments along with just the basics and nothing has really left my satisfied. And we all know master atkins a natural part of life lolololol.

accutane is almost the only option that works for all types of acne.
Diet typically has nothing to do with acne though no matter what people tend to believe.
There are different solutions for every person really, a dermatologist is your best bet to helping it clear up. Also , try to use a good oil free moisturizer on your face . Cetaphil is the most recommended, the more dry your skin is the more oil it produces in general.
Take care of your skin, and unless its super bad itll go away on its own. Go to the beach...the sun and water will help.
The only solution for you would be to go to the dermatologist, trust me. I got prescribed this pill called amnesteem and that cleared my face, cause all those other acne creams didnt work for me, g/l with it

1. Wrestle bears. Bears weilding knives if possible.
2. Drink. Heavily. If you remember taking the first drink, you havent drank enough.
3. Stab yourself in the eyes and then pour acid into them.
4. Program your brain to like fat chicks.
If you couldn't tell all these treatments wont actually get rid of the acne, but it will prepare you for the lackluster life that acne will give you.
I had bad acne for years. Lately i stopped washing my face, and now i have not one pimple.

and brett is right..dont wash the shit out of your face. allit does is open your pores and allow dirt and oils to get in and cause more acne.

If you cut down on sweets it tends to help. Like Cokes especially. Sun helps or tanning beds. And less masturbation lol
