most states have fields of nothing which contain farmland. Except maybe... um, NJ or RI. Weird people? WEIRD PEOPLE? Of the original folks that were born in the Atlanta area, we all know there is a good bit of odd and unique people there as well. (Though OH has more Emo, I think.)
Bad climate, how does having 4 seasons become a bad climate? The hot-humid summers of GA are worse than the mild-summer weather up here. Most of the retirees that have relocated to the south is the only reasoning behind its growth and suddenly Atlanta is a name to pay attention to with itd Los Angeles style urban sprawl and emissions.
