    Catching a cold is from a virus not from not wearing your coat or wearing your coat inside, but I wouldn't tell my sweet ole g maw that, I'd just take the coat off.

    thats what i did this thread was a big bowl of sarcasm. i was pointing out how would my coat magically not work from going inside then out

    because your bodies temp is used to the coat and has balanced itself out so when you re-enter the outside cold the coat is not doing its job because you never removed it to let your body temp without the coat get normalized
