Who actually buys 8 oz beers?

I was in the store tonight and saw a 6 pack of little beers. They were 8 oz. I was thinking to myself, why? Does anyone actually drink the 8 oz beers?

when my parents went down to new orleans my step dad u could get a damn 72 oz beer.... its like in a bag wit a handle or something
