i saw some at kroger one time... but i dont know where else to get it...
we're trying to find some to... I think most grocery stores have it...
and man does it help when your stripping a car.
There are a few big ice companies in the atlanta area...check the yellowpages and kroger or publix carries it sometimes (i'm sure this time of year they definitely will)
Kroger at ansley Mall sells it for $7/bag
publix... bought it about a week ago for dry ice bombs...![]()
CO2 bombs! woohoo.Originally Posted by rickgiblin
Co2 bombs? what is this trickery you speak of?
a little dry ice, water, and a 2 liter coke bottle...*BOOM* a kid got arrested last week at Georgia Tech for it...that's where i learned how to do itOriginally Posted by thinkfast
use a tiny bit of dry ice, about 5 pieces small enough fit in the hole is way more than enough...it'll explode in 3-5 minutes and if you want it faster just add more water (fills up the volume). before putting the top on squeeze the air out. I wouldn't suggest it to suprise someone though..the kid got hit with two felony charges and a $15k bail when a maintenance person at tech picked it up then it went off.
most grocery stores carry it year round and almost all should right now...i know publix and kroger will have it
We have it in Gainesville from the City Ice Company.. It's pretty expensive.. Don't touch it with your bare hands, it will burn you.
:boobies: &= :idb:
so it was a dry ice bomb and not a drano bomb...
i didn't see drano in the title clifferonyOriginally Posted by Cliff

i am talking to you...not the person who started the thread
ohhh you're asking about the tech incident, i gotcha..yeah it was dry ice.Originally Posted by Cliff
i still don't understand how it didn't explode until he picked it up,....unless he just had crappy timing and the 3-5 minutes was up right as he touched it
apparently it was just bad timing...usually you do it in a dumpster for a bigger bang anyways.Originally Posted by Cliff
yea well it's the same idea as a drano bomb and i just know there's no way to really control a drano bombs timing...once the pressure builds it goes when it wants to go
i had a family reunion in arkansas one time (out off all the places?!!!) half my family lives in California and some over here and some in arkansas so we met haflway...anyways...short story long... it was a little ass town with a pond in the middle and shops around it...i went over to the general store and picked up dry ice for $1 a pound....without people knowing I threw it in the pond and the whole town freaked out...lol. They thought it was gonna blow like a geyser or something...man, dumbasses. i don't think i'm welcome back![]()
no way is that a true story? if so that is excellent if not i am going to lagrange asap...the town is built around a big fountain
lol, ohh it's definitely true...you should do it! gotta have video though...Originally Posted by Cliff
