    Default Haiti needs our help.

I was talking to a friend of mine thats in Haiti & he couldn't find his family, he calls me crying telling me to help him as much as I can. He keeps on crying, not sure what to tell him, so I just tell him to call me back when he is not crying. This guy is one of my best friends & hate to hear him this way.

So I'm posting this thread for him, please if anyone has it in there hearts, go out & donate something, old clothes, shoe's, hat's, sock's, etc....

Do this for them not yourself. They need help with whatever you can donate, whether it be a dollar or bags of clothes of yours, just please do it.

I'm not trying to get rep or trying to make anyone feel sorry for these people, these people needs us now like never before, i know they have never helped us, but who know's what the future hold's for us, maybe twenty years from now we will need them, even if it is for their labor.

So if you can think of anything you might have that's taking up space in your house or room please don't throw it away, put it in trash bags & take it to your local Goodwill, Salvation Army, Church, Fire Station.. & let them know where you want it to go & they will thank you kindly.

& please for those of you that don't give a fuck about what's going on in Haiti just keep the bitchassness to yourselves, I am not trying to start a IA war again. Please leave all the bullshit in your mind's & not online, this thread is for those of you out there who care about other people's lives & well being.

Now let this be the time for you to clean your garage's, house's, room's, attic's & pack all that old un-used items & send it to them.

Thanks for reading. Now follow your hearts.

The wife and I just donated about $50 worth of supplies this past week, and I'm about to donate a box of clothes and shoes this weekend.

Money isn't the problem in Haiti....they got $600 million in 6 days, and are about getting $100+million per-day in donations. What they need most is more man force, seems like what they have now i just not enough.

I hope well for everyone there and hope everyone finds their family members.

yes i know money isn't everything, thats why i said you dont need to send money, & about man force, most people wont leave what they currently have to go help so why bother even posting that?

Most of the ppl that are on unemployment are sitting on their couch and watching the news on TV. When they can register to volunteer and go down their to help and at the same time get their oh so fat unemployment check (now that's makin a difference). If i was unemployed, i'd be down there rite now.

That's what I thought. And 600mUSD is like gazillion haiti money. I'm pretty sure the money isn't the problem either. Like you say, man force is what they need.

Because we are sending stuff that they have enough off. The only thing that they need right now is man force, if you really wanna feel like you're making a difference, go to Haiti and lift something up.

    blahh blahh blahhh.

I donated money via text message, but I DO NOT feel like i made a difference. People donate few bucks and think they saved someones life, they're heroes. You didn't do nothing but MAYBE buy someone a meal.

Like i said, if u wanna make a difference, go to Haiti and lift something up.

No, they don't need manpower, they need infrastructure.

I feel for those folks in Haiti, and id help too if i wasnt working all time. I will donate clothes and watever else i can to help. And money does make a difference, cause even if you cant go to Haiti and help, you might be contributing to a plane ticket for someone who can. My Prayers go out to the Haitian community though.

they do need man power, but also most importantly, they need water. The water supply and purifying systems down there was just torn apart by the quake. Water for the troops from other nations and ours, and of course for the Haitians are greatly needed. Food obviously is needed. Clothes are coming in by the millions from every nation. That was the first thing (other than money donations obviously) by each nation to come in down there. Another thing they really need is stuff like band-aids and little odd and ends like that. The orphanages are in desperate need for these things.

I will be honest.... I hate Haiti... been there a couple of times.. and I swear, you think people there want to kill you. .. But they have a kick ass rum called Barbancourt.. that shit makes you see Jesus...

My parents are going next week to D.R and will be taking a bunch of cloth they shipped to D.R earlier this week.. they shipped 5 boxes.. and collected 30 more boxes from friends in D.R .. they will be in D.R on the 29th and will be in Haiti on the 31st..

    Pretty cool shit..
