ok my Rx-7 will lack that level of awesome. That will be a pretty sweet build. What kind of numbers does that setup put down?

then I've got even LESS of that. I care about corners more than anything. But I want a sub 6 second 0-60 time first before I do suspension.

Haha yeah, I know it's not blazing quick, but it does have a certain feel to it being rotary, and it helps balance the chassis very well. With suspension and brakes on top of my engine plans, it will basically be a lotus Elise on paper. ~2000 pounds, ~210 whp (better than Elise at 1900 pounds 190 bhp). Now that Supercharged SRT-6 will fly down a straight but how do they handle?

they handle pretty freaking amazing i must say. they're made with srt suspension which is pretty much track suspension. Car and Driver said it was too rough/too much. lol. i like it, then again im not some 45 y/o with back problems.

.90g on the skidpad. That aint too shabby at all, I was expecting it to have some weight to it. So the stock SRT-6 handles as good as a stock first gen Rx-7 with modern tires (they pulled .87g on the skidpad in 1984 on the stock 1984-technology Michelins). I'm surprised they aren't more popular. It's badass that you are driving something with that much performance at 18. You should definitely do track events and autocrosses.

And autocross is $40 per event for non-SCCA members, $30 for members (membership is $50 a year). It's really pretty affordable to at least do 1 or 2 events in a season, and TONS of fun.
