For those that are worried, I just did a little research because I'm a nerd like that and like to learn all about natural disasters (not just earthquakes and tsunamis, but tornadoes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, etc.) and found out that we really don't have much to worry about. The Enriquillo-Plantain Garden Fault System runs thru Cuba, Guat., Haiti, etc. and geologists say that even with the 7.0 magnitude earthquake running all the way across the fault line, it is highly unlikely that Florida would feel any impact.
