If I had long dreads down to my back, and dressed like a skater punk, I'm sure it would happy often. I know this because I have friends who dress this way and get dirty looks from old people often.

So rev. Al Sharpton, don't be so quick to pull the "well you don't know cuz you don't experience it" card. You choose your appearance, and if you're looked down by society because of it, either you deal with it or you stfu.

I make a point to make myself presentable, at all times. Thus avoiding these situations.
