    Default holy shit is cold as hell in my house!!!

    The ac/heat repair guy has been to my house 3 times now in the last 30days and this damn heater keeps messing up. I woke up this morning with a 100*temperature and sick as hell(been sick since Thursday). I roll out of bed and to my surprise its 55* in my house. WTF It was working fine last night. Now all it does is blow cold air. I had to drag my propane heater out of my garage and try to heat up my living room and bed room.(I know not safe but damn its cold as hell)

    Best part is my land lord isn't answering his phone and I'm getting really pissed off.

    60-65 is where id like to keep my apt but since i live on campus i got 3 other roommates to worry about. i live in a quadraplex and i turned on the heat finally last night so they wont be bitching when they get back today.

    The problem is its 28* outside and will probably only get to the 30s so tonight it will get even colder in my house. I'm thinking I'm just going to spend some of my rent money and buy a few space heaters and when the rents due will see what happens. He wants the cash and I want heat.

    dang Mike sorry to hear..I think mine is retarded. It works and all but it will get way to hot and then way to cold so I have to keep messing with it. I can't wait to move into my new apartment. I haven't told them, because I don't like people I don't know in my apartment.

    We finally cranked ours to 66º. Every once in awhile to 68º.

    Sorry to hear broski. Fireplace? You could always fire up the oven and leave the door open...if it's a small area.

    Guy was suppose to show up yesterday afternoon and no one showed. Just got off the phone with my landlord and let him know how I felt. We've been in the house for 3 years and have never been late on rent. I'm feed up with him and told him we were not paying this months rent until everything in this house is fixed. Leaking facets, 3 eyed stove, gauge door and Heat. This house is only 4 years old. The damn garage door opened stopped working yesterday too so I have to manually open the damn door to get my car out. WTF.

    I'm going to start looking for a new place today and see if I can find something cheaper and closer to work.

    Damn that sucks I, personally, love sleeping in a cold room because I can stay all warm under my covers, but 55 is a little much.

    That's retarded.
    A) They won't steal anything.
    B) If they were dumb enough to, they would get caught immediately since they would be the only people in the apartment.

    If it really bothers you, hide your expensive/personal shit and get your heat fixed. You are wasting money and your comfort because of an irrational fear.
