    Default RANT! I hate my car...

    So, the AC broke right? I didn't feel like getting it fixed b/c winter in basically here...well, yesterday my f***ing heater broke! What's a girl to do? How much does that shit cost, cause it's cold as a mother in the mornings, and at the rate we're going it's only gonna get colder! I don't want to get rid of it, because there is nothing wrong with the car, and I can't afford a new car any ways! I just don't wanna pay out the ass to get it fixed... :confused:

    Heating and ac problems normally cost out the ass depending on the problem. Had the heater core go out on a honda i owned and damn near took
    out the hole entire dash to get it. In a shop you would pay out the nose for this. Better bundle up is my suggestion.

    i feel you. last year my heat quit wrking and i was too lazy to fix it. all i need was a new thermostat. i ended up putting in a new one a 11pm outside the shop in like 30 degree weather.

    i had the heater core replaced in my old taurus for 650 i believe at a dealership... dash has to be removed. but like others said, it could be simple.

    I just put a heater core in my Conquest PITA. WHat kind of car is it? I used to be a ford tech....and I used to work parts at Gwinnett PLace Ford..... let me know if I can help

    yea I have no AC in the ol' '64, that R-12 is hard to come by.. but that heater will set thy feet on fire!
