Had a circle of friends in high school and a similar situation happened so I know its not impossible. There were 5 of us, the mother came at 2.. 1 decided to go ahead and hit it a few times. Its a really awkward situation if you seriously respect your friend so I'd say if you were single and thinking about do it, don't run your mouth and its better your friend doesn't know anything about what happened. With what happened you have nothing to gain but much to lose if you value the friendship.
