The movie is visually stunning. The storyline is as cookie cutter as you can get. Reps.

Avatar was about 1000000000000 times better than Pocahontas.

Somehow though, I bet if I substituted Hondas, Rota's, spring's, Lip and Import Atlanta in there, it would be the sum up of about 75% of the cars on this site.

Pocahontas didn't have floating mountains, dragons, robotic armor, or an over the top epic battle towards the end. Avatar > Pocahontas imo, even if they are somewhat similar.

Anyone going to this movie and expecting an original story is going to get a nice, big spoonful of disappointment. This movie was all about eye-candy and it delivered on a superb level.

The visual world, military gear, and big-@ss fight at the end make the movie.

reary? It just looked boring to me. I know the graphics and CG were going to be sick, but the story looked boring and predictable.

that is true. most movies today are just remakes of other movies. it's hard to come out with a movie today that is unpredictable, since almost all plots have been used.
