Since we mostly have 2 cars per shot.. I would like to have two different photographers at every shoot...I want to do the shoots over the next 4 months...Then the month of Feb will be choosing time... AND I WILL SAY NOW... If there is interest in a indoor shoot we will need to discuss this b/c of the cost involved. I can get one, i can also set up a professional photographer to work w/ the backdrop/lights etc... only isssue is we will need everyone there that day or possibly 1 or 2 chosen days to shoot.

the cool thing, its indoors, also we will have some great photos to use for whatever we want b/c of the white backdrop ;)

Well I want to get some of the summer months outside for the pics.. The Indoors is a good idea but i'd like to keep cost down ya know?

I think for this one we should just let Ren do it her way and let this be a IA member type calender. Members taking pics of the girls and the cars since we do have some members with nice equipment and talent. For the official IA calender then I say yeah rent an indoor area and bring in a professional.

i was also mislead by the means of teh calendar...i actually read one of teh other threads and seen where you clearly put " women of ia"...so yeah my bad for puttin my opinions in the wrong idea ...but yeah for the IA Members calender...black delegation should get febuary Lol

Several things, since I arrived late to the party yet again:

1. Thank you Lauren for all the love. :goodjob:
2. Thanks to everyone else for the props too. I truly appreciate that.
3. I will gladly take as many pics as necessary. I'm always ready for that.
4. I like the idea Paul had of "runs". Letting the girl have 2 shots with 2 cars rather than 1 shot with both cars sounds good to me. How we will combine that in the page and not make it look "shutter" like is the hard part. I like the idea though. Some car combos are gonna be hard to shoot otherwise. It's not the girl's fault, just the nature of the beast.
5. I think we need to have a minimum of 2 photographers shooting. If we could have all of us there, even better. Why? Simple, more pics to choose from. It is much better to have to decide between 5 great shots, than having to SETTLE for 1 mediocre one.
6. I suggest we have a couple of main stickied threads to follow so we don't get miscommunication or misinformation.
7. One thread we need to get started on is to share locations for possible photoshoots. Remember that weather is going to play a serious role on outside shots, which I assume the majority of these will be. Can't have the girls in bathing suits or think attire in the middle of winter.

Thanks...I just hope things are allowed to proceed.. I even told one of the girls she couldnt use my car so that we could put other cars in the calendar and Im the one who thought of this ya know??

i remmeber meeting some dude at the bp at north ave i think it was one time years ago, had to be around 99-00 cant remember if it was orange or not, think it had clears, and those twinkle bulbs that changed colors
