I know, QD. Just the subject of the thread is tats. I know I can't protect him from everything in general. Wish I could. I don't wanna see anything bad happen to him. I know tho, that we have to make mistakes in order to learn and grow.

And there is nothing wrong with that line of thinking. You are what I like to refer too as a "Responsible Parent" You try to help your child out as much as possible but understand that they will need to learn on their own.
