Yeah, you were misunderstanding. I didn't see where anyone typed that. There is a an extent to which you can shelter your child. Especially at your child's age. There's a difference in sheltering a 4 year old and sheltering a 12 year old. Wait til yours gets there. I've two surpass that mark. Hopefully you'll learn that difference...and not the hard way.
