    Default Well do you???

With the new year looming just ahead like a vulture spying the carcass of a three day old possum an annual tradition starts to manifest. The New Year's Resolution.

So what's your resolution this year and do you really feel like you'll be able to stick with it? Or do you even have one?

    Later, QD.

I just wanna get back in shape. Ever since I started my full time job I got lazy, stopped working out, and put on a few pounds. I'm still not big I just miss being in good shape. Also to get a place but thats a must.

    Of course I own this.

I'm trying to get down to 200. I've been at it since the week before T-Giving, but I really will push for it for the beginning of the new year. Later, QD.

Get a place to live, finish putting my stupid ass car back together, continue to work out at the gym like I have been for the past month or so.

To everyone who is quiting or has recently stopped smoking: CHEW GUM!! and dont give in. Seeing people do it and drinking are the hardest times to not light one up. I quit September of last year cold turkey....finished a pack one night and never picked a cigg up again. You will be surprised how much better you feel and smell once you quit.

    OK....im done ranting.

I think you are correct, sir, lol! Biking sounds like a fun exercise. You can take it somewhere different and take in some new scenery if your normal route gets old. Good luck with the new baby, I think that is awesome!

    I'm quitting sodas.

I'm not a huge caffiene fan in the first place, but I figured that the healthier the better, correct?

I'm going to be getting back into shape. I'm not that much out of shape, I just want to be cut all over again. Watching the movie, Never Back Down, pisses me off and makes me work out harder. lol Yeah, i think I can do it.

Thanks man! I have a full plate with trying to be a kickass father, dipping back into the r/c hobby, getting my bike on again, and still tinkerign with cars. 2010 should be a blast.

You know that this hasn't been as hard for me to quit as I thought. I'm a guy that has been drinking AT LEAST a two liter bottle AND a six pack (24 oz) of Mountain Dew...per day....for the last 10+ years. I was literally an alcoholic for Mtn. Dew. Since the beginning of November, I have only had one two liter bottle and one 24oz bottle of Dew. And I drank my first Mtn Dew of this period just two weeks ago. It was easy. All I drink now is ice water and ice tea. Milk sometimes and some OJ. Later, QD.

I used to be a soda addict, but over the last year I've chilled out on them a bit. I just want to drop them completely, so I'll limit myself to water, lemonade, most juices, and sweet tea.

I might have the occasional Baja Blast Mountain Dew from TB, but that's cause that's the best drink ever.

Congrats on dropping the MD though, reps for healthiness.

to find a stable job, get my own place so my daughter, wife & i can live in piece.
change my attitude from "i dont give a fuck" to " i really dont give a fuck" ( which means to stress less)

2009 was a year full of hell & no happiness, so 2010 i will brush off any stressful situations & walk away from little fights or problems.

QD my old school broda, have a happy & safe New Year
& that goes for everyone on IA as well.

Not so much in terms of resolutions.
    but eliminate:
    "dayum!! Really?"
    "oh hail nahhhh!!! Wow..."
    And
"dawg, you can't be serious!!?" From the last 12mths.

    And increase the:
    "Now that's what's up!!"
    "good shit! "
    And
    "Knew I could do it!"
For next year and beyond....reduce the "oops!" Moments in life. Makes it easier to do what's benificial for ya.

I would like to start saving the money I have been spending on aboslutely nothing so I have more money in the bank so I don't feel broke all the time. I am litterally spending like 600 dollars a month on complete BS! I would like to do something with my car but I don't think my original plans will fall through in March, because I have adjusted my plans. I would like to work on not being as stressed out over small stuff anymore and last but not least, FIND A MAN THAT IS WORTH IT!

I got a few things I am planning on doing in 2010.

I want to get back in physical shape (already started working out again), in 2009 I gained about 20 pounds that I would like to lose.

Get financial freedom and better support my family.

    fix my car..lol
