    gotcha. i undestand what you mean now. i agree that a number of people who were born without tend to chastise those who give in abundance to their children... and i agree that some of these will, in turn, spoil their children if they make a good life for themselves... and this can be seen as hypocrisy.. but, i don't hold this against them... it is tough saying no to your children and not every parent is up to the task...

    luckily, i don't have that problem... no children.

    the subject of that sentence was saying no to your children being hard and that being the problem... not that having children was a problem...which is what i am taking away from your post.

    You took the wrong thing from my post. It's not really hard to say no to children. I do it multiple times a day to all mine. It's a part of their growing up to learn that there is a limit to what you will/can do for them so that they learn more what to do for themselves. There are no problems in raising a child. There may be hardships. But no problems. Later, QD.

    easy for some, not so much for others... seems like you're a good parent with the right stuff...
