Default IA members with young children...

Have you ever just wanted to leave work and go to your child's daycare or school and give them the biggest hug ever?

It is nice to see people like this. Nowadays you here about people who abuse there children and kill them and crap. I just don't see how people could do these things. When watching a movie or show that shows abuse towards children it makes me litterally ball up and cry. I just felt mushy at the moment and missed my little boo.

Nope. I think about them all the time, though. My youngest has a couple of years before he goes to school. My oldest has been out of school for 7 years. My oldest son graduates HS this year. My youngest daughter is the only one fresh into school, but it's all good because I have plenty of time to see her after. Later, QD.

I hate being away from my son. I remember the first day I sent him to daycare for the first time. I went home and held onto his clothes he slept in and cried for hours.

My kids are either with their mom or me cery rarely do they stay with a sitter and that's usually my mom. I love my girls too much to put them in daycare. I don't trust too many people with them, sad to say but the world is way too crazy and they are way too cute. ( so says me)

It takes a lot for me to trust a daycare. The moment I start to feel something is the moment I take him out. I did it before. I will not let anyone hurt my child. Please I cry to myself if I have to discipline him. I am so weak when it comes to him. Unfort. me and his dad both works m-f so I have no choice but to put him in daycare, but I am not even more then 5 minutes away from where he is so I can be there immed if I had to be.

yes, I know, but I don't let him see I am weak. He still gets the point that what he did is wrong and better not do it again. I keep it to myself when I get like that. Like I will go in a different room or something. Otherwise, he will try to get away with everything and I am not having that.

Cute lil one! I have 2 my lil girl is 3 in Apr and my lil boy is 1. I work all the time and my wife stays home with the kids so I only see them after 630. I wish I could just go home sometimes and hug and kiss them. They are GREAT. Kids put life into a NEW perspective. Hope all of you have a Merry Christmas and the kids get everything they asked Santa for.

My little girl is 9 weeks old. It is awesome to go at the end of the day to see her. I was telling my wife last night that I can't wait until I can interact with her. I love her as she is now but ready for the years to come. I'm sure in a couple of years I'll be like I wish she was still a baby. lolol.

Give it a few more years after that and you'll wish that YOU were your child's age.

I feel this way sometimes especially because my children are growing up in the same exact house I grew up in. I see her running around our yard just the same as I did. We walk down to the creek and walk down it and all I can do is picture when I was her age down there digging up crawdads. The trails that I ran down when I was her age are even still there. Even in the house the memories are deep. I went up in the attic a couple of days ago and found 2 blue sleds that Santa got for me and my sister back when I was 8 years old. Still in the attic. I only hope there is snow (or ice) this year so that my youngest daughter and son can sled down the hill just as I did. Later, QD.

That's pretty damn cool. I wish I could move back into the house that I grew up in. So many good memories. Everytime my family get together we always bring up old stories. My older brother and I would always make something in the woods and make my little brother test it out for us. Needless to say the zipline, that went over the creek ,we made out of electric wire didn't hold up to good. We were young and didn't know. lol

The good old times are always fun to relive. I find all kinds of stuff in the attic and around the house that were lost over the years when I go "exploring" it, lolol. I was cutting grass a few months ago and saw the end of a drain from the gutter. My 3 year old son found a drain coming from under the ground that comes from a roof gutter and he stuck his hand in there. Somehow he came out with a Hotwheels car that I had put in there back before I was 10.

It's weird to be in this house as an adult rather than as a child and I look forward to my children having those same memories. Later, QD.
